Clean Chicken Wings

If you’ve been following me for a while, you know I simply don’t believe in measuring! I love experimenting with foods and I believe you should add more or less of what you enjoy based on your taste buds, especially when it comes to sauces! So, I will share with you what I put in my homemade sauce and you can go crazy with the amounts! I suggest making a lot of the sauce and refrigerating it for future use! Here’s my recipe:

  • Chopped Onions

  • Chopped Scallions

  • Chopped Garlic

  • Chili powder

  • Salt

  • Pepper

  • Fresh chili peppers

  • Thyme

  • Honey

  • Brown Sugar

  • Soy Sauce

  • Jamaican hot sauce

Mix all of the ingredients together. Taste as you go, and add more of your favourite ingredients along the way. Once completed, toss in a batch of chicken wings, cover, and marinate in the refrigerator. I aim to marinate for a few hours. Then,  I bake (at 350 degrees) for 30-40 minutes (or until cooked). Save some sauce for the end so you can toss the wings in it after it’s cooked for extra saucy wings!

Enjoy!
